What we charge you
Nothing. Our claim check is free, and we don’t charge you for introducing you to a firm.
How we’re paid
The firms we work with pay us a fee for each customer we introduce. The firm pays this, not you. We tell you which firm we’ve passed your details to.
What firms can charge
Firms usually charge a percentage of any compensation, and must explain exactly what they charge before you sign. For financial services claims, the most an FCA-authorised claims management company can charge is capped:
| Compensation | Maximum fee | Maximum fee incl. VAT |
|---|---|---|
| £1 to £1,499 | 30% (up to £420) | £504 |
| £1,500 to £9,999 | 28% (up to £2,500) | £3,000 |
| £10,000 to £24,999 | 25% (up to £5,000) | £6,000 |
| £25,000 to £49,999 | 20% (up to £7,500) | £9,000 |
| £50,000 or more | 15% (up to £10,000) | £12,000 |
The cap doesn’t apply to claims taken to court. Law firms are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and set their own fees, which they must explain to you.
